Precious Sweat
The Bible shares that the prayers of the Saints are precious in the sight of the Lord. After worshiping with our Dominican church partner, Restoracion, I’m confident the sweat of the Saints are precious to Him as well.
What a blessing to be with His Church this morning as they poured themselves out as an offering! With the intensity and fervor of a Final Four game, men and women praised the name of Jesus. In Spanish, standing, waving flags, and hands raised, joy filled the church until sweat rolled down smiling faces. No doubt God was pleased with this three-plus-hour, Dominican version of March Madness. At GO, we want to serve like that.
We want to work hard. We want to worship – all in. We want to serve the Lord by helping His Church care for His children. We revel in this “Madness” that lasts way past March, and if we sweat in the process, todo el mejor (all the better)!
Precious in the Lord are the prayers of His Saints…so is their sweat.
