GO India | COVID-19 Relief

In a country of 1.3 billion, no one is allowed to leave their home without authoritative permission, but our local partners in Hyderabad, India remain diligent and are continuing to safely serve the vulnerable in their communities. Below you will find pictures of groceries being distributed to daily wage workers who are unable to earn due to lock down in efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus. These workers are from the other states of India and are held up in Hyderabad due to transportation being shut down.

Our after school program at NTR Nagar has also been shut down due to COVID-19, GO India and Pastor Gopi took advantage of the opportunity to bless children who attend after school programs with food packages for their families. These are some of the most poverty stricken people in Hyderabad who are being severely effected by the city being shut down.
