Haiti – Day 6
Port Salut and Arniquet were the agenda for Day 6 of our “romp around Haiti”. Marsha and I started off early but we had a bit of a haul to our first stop @ Port Salut, which is looks a lot like it should be a beach town but no one is on the beach.
I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get to take a dip in those crystal clear waters!! We had a few challenges ensuring that we got every single child checked in but we made it, the medical staff was at work too doing a follow up visit from a team of doctors that was down about a month ago.

I really enjoy seeing so much work being done on behalf of these orphan kids, some of them were truly living on trash just a few weeks ago and now they are being cared for, eating, clothed and getting medical attention!
Were up to about 750 or so kids that we have been able to capture…and were getting better every time we head out. It will be exciting to get these profiles and information back to all of our supporters for you to enjoy.
By the way dont forget we are closing in on our goal to build a home in Uganda on Facebook…check it out here!
