Charity is a single mother. She and her three children live in Kabale, Uganda. In the last year, their lives have changed dramatically through the ministry of our local church partner. And it all started with a simple garden hoe.

Father’s Family
Charity and her children are one of hundreds of families whose lives have been elevated through the seemingly humble contributions of GO Africa’s newest family-strengthening and orphan prevention program called Father’s Family.
As a ministry of the local church, Father’s Family equips families with basic financial management skills, job skills and spiritual healing. Through its ability to strengthen families, Father’s Family has helped reunify children with their parents and extended family members.

It was our brilliant team from Uganda who synthesized all of the best practices from these ministry initiatives to create a family-strengthening model based on all of the things that we had seen working.”

Father’s Family is expanding quickly in Uganda, currently serving over 480 families and over 1,200 children! With your help, our local church partners around the world hope to begin implementing this family-strengthening program in 2019.
