The Mother Church works
God has called GO Project to be a friend to His Church caring for His children. Long after relief agencies and government SUV’s leave, beyond the international headquarters of leading, global non-profits, in villages of Africa, in the densest parts of India is God’s Church – serving, sweating, sacrificing, building, investing, caring, ministering…loving.
This e-mail below from Mary, GO India’s Executive Director, and member at Bethel Gospel in Hyderabad is another example. Through the partnership between Longhollow Baptist, a few GO friends, and the members at BGC, a light is shining in the slums of Amberpet. Soon, four Father’s Homes will open inside in the church walls. 30 more orphaned children will become part of the family. We simply wanted to share the beauty of the church at work with you, and invite you in…there’s still a real opportunity here to get in on the fun. Please e-mail me if you’d like to learn more…
Dear Brother Trace,
This is the Mother Church. The church floor is completed. Only doors and windows need to be fixed. We are seeing amazing generosity from the church members. They have blessed for the ceiling, one family blessed all the fans, Pastor Sudhakar and family blessed for lights, one family for curtains and carpets. If you remember Yadaiah the real estate business man – blessed 200 chairs. People came forward to bless one door each or either a window. Truly seeing generosity overflowing out of the hearts of Church members.

Bethel Gospel Church Hyderabad celebrating Orphan Sunday on Nov 2, 2014
The orphan homes are getting ready. The flooring work is on now and will take at least two weeks of time and some money too. We are doing our best raising funds locally.
Managing committee started identifying children and house mommas. In a week or two everything will be visible to our eyes what we have been dreaming for.
My heart is filled with lot of excitement and joy to see the construction coming close to end and time arriving to welcome lovely children. Just can’t wait to see a big smile on the cute faces and to just hug them.
Please uphold us in your prayers.
Mary
