View from the roof
Many of you consider the view from the roof at Jumecourt among your favorites. It’s one of mine. Sunrise is especially spectacular (as it was this morning – see pic) but it may not be the most beautiful scene on the roof right now.
Our new sewing center is humming. Haitian tailors are working hard to fulfill the first order of 2,400 uniforms for school children who start September 1st. I visited with Kenson (smiling in center). Like the other tailors, he takes pride in his product and providing for his family. Dignity is evident. Their work ethic is inspiring.
Because of so many of you who support GO Threads with $20 purchase orders, school children will benefit from uniforms received, and families will benefit from paychecks banked.
Thank you!
Because of you, the view from the roof is beautiful indeed!
If you would like to help with the second order (600 uniforms) that we hope to send later this month, please click here.
