This little dear was one of the first children our local partner here brought into full time care. She was so hurt then. So wounded. Things happened repeatedly to her that should happen to NO child – ever. You can imagine what I’m speaking of. That was her life as an orphan on her own.
When our partner found her, she had few teeth left and they were rotted to nothing. She never smiled. She recoiled to touch. Her caretakers here have steadily, consistently loved on her. Every day. She has security. And recently, she got a new set of pearly whites. She smiles…
