GO Haiti Hosts Annual Leadership Retreat: A Testament to Resilience and Commitment
From September 18-20, GO Haiti hosted its Annual Leadership Retreat, bringing together 10 leaders, their spouses, and staff members for a much-needed break amidst Haiti’s ongoing challenges. Despite the instability in the country, the retreat served as a vital space for reflection, refreshment, and connection.
The retreat, held in a peaceful setting, focused on staff well-being, particularly supporting leaders. Over the course of three days, attendees enjoyed delicious meals and a variety of fun activities, including bottle-flip games, soccer, volleyball, and pool games. A standout activity was the collaborative painting session, where everyone laughed and enjoyed painting portraits of friends and peers.
Leadership development was at the heart of this retreat. GO Haiti’s fearless leader, Odinès Paulimé, was present throughout, reinforcing GO Project’s unwavering commitment to its leaders and sister organizations, even in times of adversity. By investing in the well-being of Haitian leaders, GO Project continues to demonstrate its long-term vision for sustainable community transformation.
On behalf of the GO Haiti team, Odinès extended his heartfelt gratitude to all GO Project leaders. “Your support has been a beacon of hope amidst challenges,” he shared. “Our investment in Haitian leaders and communities is valued, and the impact of your dedication is deeply felt.” The team collectively expressed their appreciation for the ongoing commitment to their well-being and the power of collective efforts in driving change.
As we continue to invest in leadership and community development, this retreat is a reminder of the resilience and unity that will shape the future for Haiti.
