Did You Know that CarePortal aided more than 1,000 Children during 2015?
As we celebrate the light of the world this Christmas, we are celebrating the CarePortal network for reflecting that light into the darkness enclosing families in crisis. As the book of John states, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
What is it to be a merry? It’s intended to reflect the culmination of bliss, a time of complete and utter joy. We Americans have long since rejected the mere “Happy Christmas” of British holiday festivities; it doesn’t quite capture the uniqueness of that special day, does it?
An occasion for merriment is an occasion for rejoicing. And that’s what we’re doing as the dusk of 2015 approaches.
Throughout 2015, every church response has mattered. Every CarePortal response impacted a family in need, struggling to meet the day-to-day rigors of life. Every CarePortal response aided a family toeing the line of transition.
Matthew 25:40: And the King will answer them, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”
In this spirit, and to the glory of the Lord, we simply wanted to share that the local church’s efforts have influenced the trajectory for over 1,000 children during 2015. We are humbled and excited to watch the Lord’s movement through child welfare agencies and local churches in the coming year. With new communities and new states enrolling, who knows what the Lord may do?
Certainly, this is an occasion for rejoicing, an occasion to be merry.
Merry Christmas!
