Change a life…

It’s not everyday that you get to change a life…..or is it?

It occurred to me that this is more of a choice than we may think, some of us are under the delusion that changing a life takes a lot of work. May be too much work, right? Hang on, let’s test the theory….while that may be true if you tried to go it alone, if you team up it can be much easier than you think.

A group of students @ the University of Missouri (Mizzou for those in the know), have banded together as Mizzou for Malawi and are raising money to build schools in a village called Salima, Malawi. No they are not alone they are working with C3 Missions to help organize their efforts along with a group of parents that are helping them along, but make no mistake at who is leading this effort….. a group of college students! Check this out:

• Over 1K members and growing on their Facebook group page
• Some cool videos to help promote their cause
• They have put together events on and off campus to spread the word (a pretty cool concert from what I hear)

So perhaps what we thought was too difficult really isn’t that hard at all! If a group of college students can build a schools in Africa, what could you do with a little effort and a lot of friends?
