C3 Team Heads to Haiti

A group of 18 anxious individuals are busy making final preparations to head to Haiti tomorrow…its time you took a look!

C3 organizes “Vision” trips nearly every month to our orphan villages in Haiti. Why Haiti might you ask?? Well for several reasons; its close, the need is overwhelming and the fact that C3 has over 1500 orphan kids in over 70 homes across Haiti gives us a great way to show what work is being done to help orphaned and abandoned kids who are in real need.

A “Vision” trip really is just that…a way to see what the problem is and what C3 (with your help) is doing about it. Its a short 5 day trip, but anyone who has been on will tell you its life changing. “At first I went thinking that I would change the lives of the kids but it was the kids who changed my life” says Mandy Sharp, C3 Coordinator of Events & Trips.

We are planning to have a blast with the group in addition a few of us will be staying an extra week or so to gather medical and biographical information about our kids to share with all of you back here. Stayed tuned to this blog for updates as often as we can (hey its Haiti) from the field.
