Kabale-Peace

Peace is a house mama at Father’s House Kabale and takes care of 7 girls in her home. Her children are well behaved, and she shares, “they listen to what I tell them and follow it. They like reading their books except one girl, otherwise they like studying. They like the Lord as well as going to church.”

Peace joined The Father’s House in June 2010. She was born in Rwere village, Muyanje parish, Bubaare Sub County in the Kabale district. She grew up with both parents and studied up to senior three, but at the age of 13 she moved to stay with her aunt in Masaka. There she got married and had two children, but unfortunately her husband and first born child died in a car accident. She and her other son survived the accident.

“I later started a new life as a widow. Came back to Kabale and worked as a matron and later joined the Father’s House,” Peace shares. Peace likes doing hand crafts and is interested in business. She loves children, too, and is taking care of a few blind children who are not even related to her. Peace’s prayer request is that she someday she would be able to build a very big house that can accommodate all the blind children she is also taking care of.

We would like to invite you to love and support Peace. Several Mamas, like her, and the children they care for are currently in need of an individual, family, business or church to wrap around them and invest in their daily needs. To support Peace and the children she cares for, contact Trace at [email protected] or make a donation here>>
