GO Project Family 5K
Run for orphaned and abandoned children around the world May 2, 2015
GO Project Family 5K
Saturday, May 2, 2015
Join The Global Orphan Project for a morning of fun and exercise at the sixth-annual GO Project 5K, and run for children and chickens! Why are we running for children and chickens? Chickens, raised on our GO Haiti farm, provide much needed nutrition for hundreds of children and jobs for workers in Haiti. The poultry farm also serves as a vocational training center for teenagers in the Pathways program.
Prizes will be awarded to the top competitors overall, team who raises the most support, and team with the most members. (Start a team) After the race, stay for a pancake breakfast and kids’ activities. Keeping with tradition, during the race runners who catch the infamous ‘Fox’ (a person released 2 minutes prior to the start) will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate.
