When Mike and Beth Fox started this ministry in 2003, they noticed that too many non-profits try to solve major societal problems while operating with a scarcity mindset. These organizations often struggle to cover basic overhead expenses and lack capital for innovation and risk-taking. When fundraising, they frequently face pressure to portray donors as heroes rather than focusing on what best serves their mission of caring for children.
Mike and Beth initially self-funded the ministry's operating costs and strategic investments, giving leaders the freedom to advance the mission effectively. This approach worked. When the ministry outgrew their personal funding capacity, they invited like-minded friends to join them—and the Founders' Circle was born.
Today, our Founders' Circle comprises a growing community of more than 100 families who generously invest in our work—personally, through their businesses, or through their foundations. Their funding serves two key purposes: (1) supporting the GO Project operational engine and (2) making strategic investments in our platforms.
GO Project offers these investors meaningful connection opportunities and maintains rigorous impact accountability, proving our methods are both beneficial for children and financially sound for investors, delivering substantial Kingdom returns on investment.
Who is a Strategic Investor?
Strategic Investors are key partners who make significant financial commitments to GO Project's mission, typically contributing $10,000 or more annually. These individuals and companies provide the essential resources needed to drive innovation and scale our impact in breaking the orphan cycle. Rather than restricting funds to specific programs, this flexible support allows our teams to make real-time decisions that best serve families in the most crucial circumstances, maximizing both immediate impact and long-term sustainability in the communities we serve.
The Founders' Circle is a community of Strategic Investors who desire deeper engagement with our mission. Founders' Circle funding supports GO Project's operational needs and strategic investments, giving leadership discretionary use of funds.
The Founders' Circle is more than just a funding mechanism—it's a vibrant community of like-minded individuals committed to making a difference in children's lives.
Participation in member events is offered as an opportunity, not an obligation. We understand that our investors have varying levels of interest in direct involvement, and we honor those preferences.
As a member, you join a private philanthropic community united by the mission to break the orphan cycle, with opportunities to connect with like-minded investors through exclusive events.
