CarePortal comes to Kansas City!
The first round of CarePortal gatherings in Kansas City went fantastic! Many churches attended and are excited about taking the next step to see CarePortal used in KC. We also found that for many the dates didn’t work, so we have a second round of meetings scheduled for February 19th and 20th.
The Child Welfare Systems in Kansas and Missouri are ready to partner with the Church to care for hurting children and families. God has provided an amazingly simple, yet effective connector to make it easy for the church to know who needs help, and how to help them.
We invite you to learn more about CarePortal, and how your Church can implement it to help your community by attending one of these upcoming meetings or by emailing Tate at [email protected].

At GO Project we are passionate about seeing the local church in KC engaging in the lives of hurting children and families in their community. But we are also aware that there are many barriers that make it challenging for our churches to mobilize effectively. The Care Portal helps you get through those barriers. The Children’s Division for the State of Missouri and the Department for Children and Families in Kansas has asked GO Project to pilot the use of this tool in partnership with their staff and contracted agencies in the KC Metro area.
We are praying God raises up the Church in KC to launch this effort in February 2015!
