That’s SOME SIGN

Crowds came to witness Charlotte’s “Some Pig” Web that stood as a sign that Wilbur was no ordinary swine. While we don’t have a literate spider or gawking crowds, we can’t help but feel a little of Farmer Homer Zuckerman’s pride as we look at our new sign. That’s SOME SIGN, huh? Not because you can see it for hundreds of yards in either direction, or because it looks cool, or because Fox can sit on one of the columns and watch traffic go by this Friday night in Parkville. It’s SOME SIGN, because it was born in the heart of one of our GO’ers. A successful builder/businessmen went to Haiti to ride bicycles and found his heart touched by children. He took his family to Haiti the next month. Later, he told us he’d like to make a sign for us. We’re grateful…for the cool sign? Absolutely! But even more for the stirring in this man’s heart, and in so many of your hearts, to do something (and in fact almost anything) to express your love for God’s children. Thank you! What a privilege to serve with you.
