Sustaining orphan care here is very doable. Living expenses at a culturally relevant level will cost little, with food being the main expense.
But there is ample and quite fertile land for ag development to support local food production for kids’ consumption and sale in the market. Finding leaders to QB development is usually the challenge. Key – people resources.
Enter David (pictured). He has a masters in ag development. He would lead the ag development for this project. We will likely send him and other E African local leaders in our system to a 1 month ag training in Ethiopia this July. Working on that…
