We need to teach them how to be leaders
Raising Leaders at Biggarouse
Pastor Elysée encourages the children in his ministry to be proud when going to church, because it is by God’s grace that they’re able to attend. As a result, many of his students glorify the Lord in a number of varying ways. Some are leaders during church, assisting in communion, while others sing in the choir and leads worship. Often at night the pastor will listen as he sits outside the church’s doorstep, content.
He will hear his students singing, some teaching new songs to others, and he will rejoice in the friendships that are blossoming at the village. Along with this are students who take on the role of leaders in the village, and these initiatives fill the Pastor with delight.
“It is irresponsible if I don’t have them involved. We need to teach them how to trust God and how to pray.”
He does exactly that, and subsequently has a village thriving with ambitious and dependable leaders.
