Special Delivery: 100,000 Meals Arrive in Dominican Republic
On May 12, more than 800 volunteers devoted their Saturday morning to feed kids! With music and a pancake breakfast keeping us moving, we assembled more than 100,000 nutrition-packed meals at our 2nd annual GO Feed 100K in Riverside, MO.
Today, we’re excited to announce those meals were delivered to kids and families in the Dominican Republic!
The Dominican Republic occupies the eastern half of Hispaniola, a Caribbean island shared with Haiti. While the former Spanish colony is known by many for it’s beautiful beaches and resorts, it’s also home to many children and families in need. Thank you to every person who gave their time to provide nutrition and help these kids learn, grow and thrive.
