New Year, New Adventure, Old Hope
By now, most of us have taken our Christmas trees down. Wrapping paper is thrown away, and we’ve made any resolutions that we’re going to make. Welcome to 2011! At The GO Project, the new year is already full of new adventure.
The Tour d’Haiti is on for January 8-12. The following day, Marsha Campbell leads a group of committed ladies to our first Vision Trip to Uganda. Our first children’s village in the Dominican Republic is being built, and on the other side of the island, construction is fast and furious with the hope of having an inaugural service in Pastor Vaval’s new church building on the one-year commemorative date of the quake.
We are grateful for the new year’s new adventures and new opportunities. Still, our greatest hope, for ourselves and for these children, is two thousand years old. As we enter 2011, it is the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ that gives us hope. We look forward to serving Him by caring for His children with you in this coming year.
