Meet Dorceus
We are dedicating your Different December donations to meeting the Now Needs of children of all ages around the world, including young adults in GO Project’s Pathways program, like Dorceus.
Last August, Dorceus graduated from the first class at Pathways, GO Haiti’s two-year vo-tech, life skills, and discipleship program. Eight years earlier, her father passed away, leaving her mother to care for their seven children. Dorceus, the youngest, attended a local church that introduced her to the possibility of Pathways. With limited educational opportunities, Dorceus had only completed 6th grade when she came into the program at age 18. Today she is earning a living wage as an employee of Life SA (GOEX.org). Above she explains how Pathways helped open many doors for her.
