Lydia
Lydia Tukacungurwa is the senior mother at Kabale Father’s House as well as the house mama for six lively girls. She was born in nearby Rwere Village, Muyanje Parish, Bubaare Sub County, which is where she grew up from. Lydia began serving as a house mama at Kabale in October 2010. Prior to this, she would garden in order to have enough food to sustain her family, and was a business woman.
The girls Lydia cares for are healthy and love God. They have morning devotions every morning and at night, and attend services at church, read lessons in church and chapel, and sometimes preach. They like singing and skits, love school, and read for better results. They help Lydia while gardening, and come to her for counsel when in trouble. They all behave positively, respect her as their mom, listen to what she tells them and puts it into practice.
Lydia’s prayer request is to see her children attaining degrees in the future.
