Leaders caring for children
I’m in Uganda for a “sustainability summit.” I’ll be meeting with a wide array of entrepreneurs about potential economic and agricultural development investments for GO Fund. These entrepreneurs range from Americans doing business in Uganda, to Ugandan developers in the city, to chicken farmers in the villages, to single moms in huts.
I arrived to some great news. Rose Kanyunyuzi is our Orphan Care Director. She’s a gifted woman. Rose just got accepted to a highly regarded masters program here in Uganda. Of 35 applicants, 11 got accepted. Over the next 3 years, in addition to serving with GO Africa, she’ll pursue her masters in Organizational Leadership and Management.
I’m continuously blown away by the quality of people the Lord’s bringing to help these children. From you all in the GO community, to our staff in the US, to workers in the field like Rose.
I’ll keep you posted about the summit.
