Did You Know that Real-Time Impact Stats are available at CarePortal.org
Have you spent much time at CarePortal.org? If you haven’t visited recently, it’s time to take another visit! There are new resources frequently posted, including videos, handouts, FAQ responses for child welfare workers and ministry leaders, among others.
One of the newest tools on the website is the CarePortal Impact page. The Impact page is a snapshot of activity, allowing CarePortal users to see those real-time figures that really matter: people helped and church engagement. The Impact page shows the number of children and families impacted as well as the number of active and waiting churches. It also pulls data from the CarePortal database to reflect the outcomes of CarePortal requests, showing the percentage of requests met by the church, met by another resource, or still represent an open need. The figures can be pulled for the entire CarePortal network or for each state.
For example, if I’m a CarePortal supporter who is interested in learning about the number of churches enrolled in Kansas, I can visit the Impact page and generate the following:
If I’m a church member in New York who is wondering if CarePortal is making a difference across the nation, I can visit the Impact page and review the following:
Or, if I’m a social worker in North Carolina who is wondering if I should invest time in entering a need into the CarePortal network, I can review national or statewide statistics on the Impact page of the percentage of needs met by the church.
We’ve also included the aggregate survey results from child welfare agencies and churches as part of the Impact page. We believe it’s important to communicate the ongoing feedback of our partners. Everyone has a voice in this conversation, and it’s important that we work together to overcome the inevitable challenges that will emerge.
