Honoring a friend with a heart for God's kids
One of the great joys at GO Project is getting to serve with many of you who care so deeply for orphans. One friend who lived as a champion for children is Matt Alexander.
After years of walking with Jesus, Matt Alexander, went to His Father’s House last Saturday, August 30th. Gracious, gentle, and good, Matt majored on the majors. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Julie, an engaged father to Jessica, Shawn, and Kaitlyn, an active member of his church, a faithful servant to his clients, and an effective leader with several local ministries, including The Global Orphan Project, where he was an consistent advocate for the orphan. He loved his neighbor and lived to advance the Kingdom.
To honor Matt’s heart for God’s kids, a myGO account has been set up. All proceeds given in Matt’s memory will go to meet the greatest needs of children around the world who need family.
“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:13
