Stories of those who have been emancipated from the Foster Care System seem to reverberate, like the narratives told in this video Life After Foster Care.
Abuse, neglect, drugs, and death. These stories are told over and over by the kids that “age out” of state care. Many also echo that it only takes the love and investment of one person to change the child’s perspective. What would the world look like if the Church stepped into the role of the investor? God is calling His Church to step into the mess and encounter these kids. To provide hope, share truth, and change perspective. We can impact a life, not just for today, but for an eternity. They’re ready to be helped but are we answering the call?
