493 Reasons to Thank You

We’re not an outcomes driven ministry. Day by day, I hammer home to those working within GO Project that our ministry is to be faithful to the process of what we’re called to do. Give our utmost for His highest to help local churches care for children nobody seems to want. And let God own the results.

That said, we do look for the fruit. If we’re pulling on the oars with all our might, but the boat’s aimed in the wrong direction, that’s a problem.

I’m digging into the 2012 data. Where are we pulling in the right direction? What course corrections are needed?

In the process of looking at what God’s doing, and what we need to do better in our role, this number blows me away…

493.

Through all of our efforts together, we brought 493 new children into care through our local church partners in 2013. 493 children who now know family. 493 children who know the love of Christ.

Imagine… Each day. A new child. And now and then, two.

Just 1 would be worth it all. But 493?! God is so good. He gives us more than we can ask or imagine.

Join us in celebrating and praying God’s richest blessing on the 493 children who joined our global family in 2012.
