C3 Missions International Introduces New Christmas Catalog,
Making Donor Giving More Effective for Orphans Worldwide
C3 asks donors to give more hope, not more stuff.
Kansas City, Mo. (December 8, 2008) C3 Missions International, an organization that is positively transforming the lives of thousands of orphaned and abandoned children world-wide, has just introduced a Christmas catalog that makes supporting the organization easier and more effective than ever.
C3 Mission s new Christmas catalog, which is available by calling 816-536-8333 or by going online to www.c3missions.org/catalog, is putting donors hard-earned dollars to work in a powerful way. Instead of asking donors to simply write a check, the catalog gives them the chance to choose from such valuable gifts as:
two chickens which provide eggs, meat and protein for the children for $25;
a 110 lbs. bag of rice and beans a staple food source that will feed dozens of children for many days for $65;
a bunk bed that will provide a warm, safe place for two orphans to sleep for $100;
the day-to-day cost of caring for one child for an entire year for $480; and
a solar-based power system that will light an entire C3 village for $2,500.
C3 Missions a non-profit organization founded to care for some of the more than 140 million orphans in the world today is operating 54 homes that house more than 2,200 children. Another 52 homes are in the finishing stages, which will care for nearly 1,100 more children, and 110 additional homes are in the planning stages. Because a supporting foundation generously underwrites all of C3 Mission s operating expenses and overhead, 100 percent of every donation goes directly to help the children.
At this time of year, in particular, so many generous people reach out to help others in need, said C3-co-founder Mike Fox. We want to help these wonderful givers reach across the world to care for the most vulnerable children on earth in practical and transforming ways. And we want to help inspired givers spread their hope by giving in the name of and as a gift for their loved ones. That’s the purpose of this catalog: it s Land’s End with enormous significance. We’re thrilled to introduce the C3 Christmas catalog.”
C3 s mission is to strategically plant children s homes within existing local churches and community hubs. This approach results in orphans around the world being positively transformed physically, emotionally, educationally and spiritually. C3 Missions is currently operating homes in Cambodia, Chad, Haiti, Honduras, Ivory Coast (C te d’Ivoire), Liberia, Malawi, the Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Uganda.
About C3 Missions International
Founded in 2003, C3 Missions International is a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for orphaned and abandoned children around the world. C3 works with local, indigenous partners to create orphan homes in a “village” model that provides holistic care and support. Mike and Beth Fox founded C3 in 2003 after a modest donation to help support 19 orphaned children in Thailand. By 2006, C3 had eight homes in three countries and just over 500 children in care. Today, C3 has 54 homes and helps care for more than 2,200 children, with another 52 homes under construction and 110 in process, spanning 14 nations in the Caribbean, Asia and Africa.
