How’s your normal?

It’s beautiful today in Haiti. Our team is taking a break from the midday heat after visiting children at one village and preparing to see another this afternoon – just another “normal” Vision Trip…

That is if it’s normal for 22 people from four states born in six different decades to give their time and money to love on those they’ve never met.

And if it’s normal for an 11-year-old American girl to make duct-tape jewelry bracelets for dozens of orphans…

Showing off duct tape braceletsIf a multi-guitar, jimbay-drum jam session on a hotel roof is normal…

Or if an 8-year-old blonc performing magic tricks for Haitian children who have never seen a rabbit, much less one pulled out of a hat…

Or if it’s normal to sit with really good friends you met two days ago to talk about things like forgiveness, hope, riches, and redemption…

If normal fills your heart with joy…

If normal gives you a bigger view of God, His world, and your place in it.

If this sounds like your normal, you understand, but if you’d like a little more of this kind of normal in your life, consider this your invite to GO on a Vision Trip.
